Favorite Music, Artists, Genres:I love just about everything except gangster rap!!! That makes me angry and gives me a headache...okay lets see what do I like...Lucinda Williams, Kasey Chambers, RL Burnside, Waylon Jennings, Theory of a Deadman, Dave Moore, Pieta Brown, Rainer, Dolly Parton, Chris Knight, Steve Earl, Greg Brown, Bo Ramsey....the list can just keep going..., I enjoy folk, rock, blues, LOVE scottish/irish fiddle music, bluegrass. Oh what the hell, I love music. Who am I fooling.

Favorite Books, Writers, Genres:okay I will start with a few...as I remember more I will add them. My books are in boxes...I really need to get find them and get them back on my bookshelf., Their Eyes Were Watching God, My Antonia, 100 Years of Solitude, Iona Moon. Interests and Activities:The western way of life and all its activities, horses, cows, plants, water, soil. I enjoy reading. I am getting back into writing. Music has always been a part of my life. I love to dance. I love cooking and feeding the people I love. Enjoy taking back dirt roads and seeing new country. Love to throw out the bed roll and sleeping outside. I love banter and discuss and debate. And my 2 yo boy is pretty much my full time activity these days!

Cheri Cabot, Jun 26, 2009, 1:41AM EDTI grew up near Denison, but lived for several years in Humboldt...not terribly far from Clear Lake. To be honest, I don't miss it, and wouldn't go back if my daughter & her family didn't live there. Life is so much better here.
